Dr. Maryam Alizadeh, PharmD, earned her Doctorate in Pharmacy from Midwestern University College of Pharmacy Glendale, Arizona in 2021. As a student, she developed a keen interest in compounding and completed several certifications through the renowned PCCA. Her great academic performance helped her secure a spot on the Dean’s list for academic excellence. She began her career in retail pharmacy, serving as the founding pharmacist-in-charge at several chain and mail-order pharmacies.

In July 2023, driven by a passion for patient-centered care, Dr. Miab opened Wellness Pharmacy in Fountain Hills, Arizona. Recognizing a gap in the quality of care at larger chain pharmacies, her vision was to create a space that empowers patients to take charge of their health and wellness. Drawing on her Middle Eastern heritage, she brings a deep appreciation for natural supplements and remedies, offering a wide array of natural products and high-quality compounding services designed to meet unique treatment needs.

Committed to advancing the field, Dr. Miab also serves as an adjunct professor at both Midwestern University and the University of Arizona, where Wellness Pharmacy functions as a teaching facility and internship site for compounding. Additionally, in partnership with a naturopath, the pharmacy offers services such as IV therapy, community acupuncture, and light therapy.

An active member of the Arizona Pharmacy Association, Dr. Miab is a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend who cherishes quality time with her family and enjoys boating.
